Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Elena Cammarano, VAT no. 11730100960, Viale Fratelli Casiraghi 376, 20099 Sesto San Giovanni (MI), Italy. For anything about your data, write to info@elenacammarano.com.

Elena is based in Italy, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everyone who uses this site, wherever they live.

What data we collect

• What you write in a form: name, email, phone, Instagram handle, wedding or event date, location, timings, number of people, services, preferred language, how you found Elena and your message. Only you decide what to write; fields marked as required are the ones Elena needs to reply.
• Where your visit started: the first page you opened, the referring site and any campaign parameters (UTM) in the link. They are kept in your browser for the current tab only and sent to us only together with a form you submit.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and the pages requested, recorded by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
• Statistics, only if you allow them in the cookie banner: see “Cookies” below.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote or a booking — steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To manage a booking, invoices and tax records — performance of the contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
• To keep the site running and secure — Elena's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Statistics on how the site is used — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives your data

Your data is not sold and is not shared with anyone for their own purposes. It is handled by service providers acting on Elena's behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site.
• Formspree — receives the forms and forwards them by email.
• Set It Right — manages this site for Elena: messages from the contact and wedding-planner forms reach its mailbox first and are forwarded to her automatically.
• Google (Google Workspace) — Elena's email.
• Dubsado — Elena's client-management software: it hosts the wedding enquiry form and keeps enquiries and bookings.
• Only with your consent: Google (Tag Manager and Analytics 4).

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Google, Cloudflare and Dubsado are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; Formspree relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become a booking: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
• Bookings, contracts and invoices: 10 years, as required by Italian law (Art. 2220 of the Civil Code).
• Your cookie choice: 6 months.
• Statistics (Google Analytics): 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask Elena to see, correct, delete or export your data, to limit how it is used, or object to its use (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. Write to info@elenacammarano.com: you will get an answer within one month.

If you think your data has been mishandled you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority of the EU country where you live or work.

Giving your data in a form is optional, but without a name, an email and a date Elena cannot reply. No decision about you is made automatically.

Cookies

The first time you visit, a banner asks what you allow. Statistics and external content stay off until you switch them on; closing the banner with × counts as a refusal and we will not ask again for 6 months. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences, also at the bottom of every page.

Content from other sites

The wedding enquiry form on the Bridal page is served by Dubsado, Elena's client-management software, and opens only if you allow “External content” in the cookie banner or press the button to load it. From that moment what you type goes straight to Dubsado, and Dubsado sets its own cookies, including analytics and advertising cookies from Google, Meta, X (Twitter), Hotjar, Intercom, PostHog and Stripe, under Dubsado's own policy.

The Love Notes page can show live reviews from Google (through Elfsight) and from Matrimonio.com. They load only when you press the button to show them: from that moment those services receive your IP address and apply their own policies. Links to WhatsApp and Instagram take you to Meta's services, under Meta's terms.
